The Gothic Nativity scene candle arch, in a modern style, comes from the Taulin workshop in Oberwiesenthal. It bears the “Genuine Erzgebirge” certificate and is handcrafted in their own workshop, guaranteeing the highest quality and authentic Erzgebirge craftsmanship. The centerpiece of the arch is the slender, tapered double arch made of light-colored natural wood. Its form is reminiscent of Gothic church windows, lending the piece a timeless, modern elegance. Within the arch, a delicate fretwork unfolds: a stylized thatched roof spans the scene, while a luminous Christmas star with a long tail stands majestically above. This creates a clearly structured yet deeply moving image. Inside the stable, hand-carved figures in natural wood stand ready. Mary kneels reverently beside the manger with the Christ Child. Joseph stands by her side, and a small sheep completes the serene scene. All the figures are carved with soft, flowing lines, giving them a look that is both modern and timeless. The light natural wood of the figures harmonizes perfectly with the light arched frame. As soon as the integrated LED strip is switched on, it bathes the entire scene in a warm, golden light. The strip illuminates both the upper arch and the stable as indirect backlighting. This makes the delicate fretwork, the thatched roof, and the star stand out particularly impressively. The figures are also gently illuminated from below, creating an atmospheric sense of depth that draws the eye into the scene. The Gothic arch stands on a solid, dark wooden base with two feet. This allows it to be placed stably on a windowsill, sideboard, or dining table. Its clean, modern design makes it equally at home in contemporary and classic-traditional interiors. It is therefore not only a piece of Christmas tradition but also a lasting, high-quality companion throughout the Advent season.
